In 2008, I, Sara Ouellette Subero felt called to Venezuela, where I travelled the country doing extreme adventure sports, learning Spanish and traditional medicine from various tribes on the Orinoco Delta (an extension of the Amazon river). There I met Stephan Subero, now my partner of 10+ years. Soon after, I attended the Institute of Holistic Nutrition in Canada and founded Beyond Vitality in 2010. It began purely as an online holistic health, nutrition and fitness platform until we both relocated to Trinidad and Tobago, where the physical consulting practice was born and based.
