The Italian Anthropological Association (AAI) is a non-profit scientific association. The AAI collects the cultural and scientific heritage of the UAI (Union of Anthropological Italian) and FIAI (Federation of Italian Anthropological Institutions), which was incorporated in it.

The Italian Anthropological Association aims to:
promote research and teaching of Anthropological Sciences
foster the development of relations between the followers of the discipline of anthropology
disseminate scientific and educational information and documentation
facilitate national and international collaborations.
