Dr. Schmitt is from Louisville, Ky., and owned his own practice there for over 20 years. He most recently worked for a small group practice in Savannah, Ga. He said in a news release that his desire to move back to this part of the country led him to Clarksville. More importantly, Schmitt's desire to "provide dental care to my patients on a personal level and in the manner I would like to receive."
