Sol is the owner and manager of Your Guitar Academy bristol. He has been playing guitar from a young age and would be lying if he told you guitar wasn’t his life! Sol’s playing career up to now has been split 50/50 between live guitar playing and bass guitar playing. He has gigged on some of the biggest stages the UK has to offer as well as touring in South America and Europe. Sol has recently played and recorded with the legendary Nile Rodgers before going back on tour with his originals band around the UK. Sol’s passion for guitar extends to the vintage guitar shop, ‘Hardy’s Music’, that he co-owns with his equally enthusiastic brother.

As a guitar tutor Sol’s style comes from his very own passion learn. He ensures that the correct techniques and playing styles are taught whilst engaging the students interest and excitement for modern day and classic music. Sol developed his own unique teaching style over many years spent teaching privately, teaching kids as young as 5 years old, all the way up to 70 year old guys looking to finally achieve a life long goal of learning the guitar! Sol’s creativity and enthusiasm really shine through when he teaches, and have helped make Sol the absolute favourite, ‘go to’, guitar tutor in Bristol.
