Canadian Exotic Grains Ltd started life as G.H. Schweitzer Enterprises Ltd. in 1981 as a Specialty Crop Marketing Company. The owners of the company were Gary and Susanne Schweitzer. The company changed their name on January 1st, 2011 to Canadian Exotic Grains Ltd to more accurately reflect what the company does. The company was restructured to allow employees to become involved in ownership of the new company and the company logo was updated to read “growers and marketing of spice and pulse crops”
