Lonnys Great Neck first opened its doors on March 11, 1971 in Oceanside, NY and quickly became the most talked about women's contemporary boutique on Long Island. Mothers and daughters alike, who frequented the stores, often got a chance to chat with Ina and Walter Goldstein, the founders of the business. Lonnys became not only a trendy place to shop, but a place where customers could stay and feel at home. Ina's warmth and compassion earned her the title of friend and confidant to all who knew her in the store. Lonnys longevity can be credited not only to its loyal customers, but to the women who work in the stores and carry on Ina's tradition. Lonnys is more than just a clothing store; it is a symbol of one woman's work and dedication to turn every stranger into a friend. 

Our store, like our customer is always evolving. Today, Lonnys includes 5 stores and our newly launched Lonnys.com. Now women everywhere can shop the distinctive style that Lonnys has to offer. We want all of our online customers to experience the same customer service and appreciation as the customers in our local stores. Each customer is as important to us as the first customer who walked through our doors in Oceanside in 1971.
