“Birth of Hip Hop” will Chronicle Stories Based on True Events of self expression originating within marginalized subcultures of New York (The Bronx in particular) and inner cities around the world all of which represent the different manifestations of the culture: Music, Turntablism, Dance, Graffiti and Fashion. Birth of Hip Hop will deploy a worldwide network of filmmakers to Produce Episodes culminating into a vast array short films reflecting The Hip Hop Culture’s Past and Present.
