Update: I would recommend anyone who went here to go over the billing rate and at what rate they billed you at. They wanted over 20k more on top of the 8,000 I had already paid them. After going to court it was determined that based on contract I only owed 6000 due to them billing me at a different rate. They didn't do anything out of the ordinary. I can make a story time on all social media and review in detail of how they are incorrectly billing their clients. Do not go here. They should get canceled and reported to the state Bar.

Maria and Haydee are terrible and would not acknowledge any concerns. During the year I had retained this firm they changed my representation a total of 4 times and the information being given was not consistent. One of the attorneys would talk about herself and what she has done during time I was being billed for. Any time I brought up a concern Maria would just say they can just withdraw as my legal team if I'm that unhappy. This was after I owed them a lot of money, reason I stayed with them until the end of my case.
Apr 30, 2021Previous reviewDon't go hire them. Maria and Haydee are the worst and very unprofessional. They do no acknowledge your concerns, but demand more money.

I can't tell you enough about this failure of a lawyer!! He is known in the courts as HOWARD the COWARD!!! He will tell you all the reasons you want him, he will tell you the facts about the case if YOU loose! After he gets your money that's when the PLEA DEALS come into play!! He doesn't have the intestinal fortitude to defend you in court!
He is a push over for prosecutors! HOWARD the COWARD!! The public defender will do a better job!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Sep 7, 2022Previous reviewhoward the coward as known in the legal field is a person that will scare you into please because he is lazy and just wants a fast buck from this clients (suckers)! he can't win a traffic issue case and charges $450 per hour!!!!!! this fool is going to meet up with one of his clients one day and it will be a bad day for howard the coward!!!

Professional, courteous, transparent. Snader law fought for my interest through a painful divorce and helped me navigate potential 'land mines' with precision and vigor. I've known Howard Snader since 2013 and can vouche for his character

During my time of distress due to family issues, Snader law group was there to assist me and relieve some stress. The firm worked together as a whole, representing me as a team rather, than a single person working my case. This was valuable to me because in legal and highly important matters, it is important to tackle the situation from multiple angles. When it comes to money value, it really depends on how much each person values their case. I found their pricing to be reasonable as they have fixed hourly rates but, they charge them as a they go, in minute based increments (resulting in less fees rather than a straight flat hourly rate charge). One thing I would remind people of, is remain patient. Lawyers have it hard, people yelling at them for their own issues, demanding things from them, etc. From personal experience, I understand that dealing with the courts takes time. If you ever find yourself dealing with a lawyer, instead of sending a rude email demanding information, simply ask for an update and remain patient.
Overall, the staff at Snader Law Group:
- Are attentive
- Are reasonably priced
- Do their jobHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Alyssa R.Phoenix, AZ01Jun 1, 2022
The office Manager Maria Ortiz was very unprofessional, rude, and could not maintain a conversation to provide a solution. Melissa provided false information, when asked to speak to the attorney both would not allow me to speak to the actual attorney for a solution. From my experience I WOULD NOT recommend!

Don't hire these guys unless you want to be ripped off and have your case ignored.
If you are still considering hiring Snader Law Group, I suggest you read about my experience first:
I retained Snader Law Group on August 24th 2020, to handle a simple custody agreement. It was truly a simple legal matter as my ex-wife and I were in complete agreement about the details of the custody agreement, and our divorce had long since been settled. I retained Snader Law Group because I mistakenly believed I would better served by having an attorney review this custody agreement prior to entering into it.
Initially, my experience was fairly decent. However, things quickly deteriorated. My attorney left the law firm, and I was not notified until well after she had already departed. The following 5 weeks, Snader Law Group failed to contact me one time. There was literally a deadline, a court hearing, just DAYS away, that Snader Law Group had no idea about and likely would've missed entirely had I not reached out. Fortunately, I was being kept informed of all legal developments via my ex-wife, but Snader Law Group was well and truly completely ineffective.
I informed Snader Law Group I no longer required their representation, as to this point they had done absolutely nothing, aside from a few routine legal filings prior to forgetting about my case. An attorney from Snader, named Nina, called me and proceeded to tell me various lies about how I had to continue with Snader for the upcoming hearing. I have this call recorded, feel free to contact me should you wish to hear for yourself.
This attorney claimed that legally I HAD to continue with their representation for at least this upcoming hearing (which of course I would have to pay for). Again, this is all on a recorded call.
To make matters worse, Snader Law Group has acted incredibly unprofessional regarding their invoicing and billing. The first invoice received came out to the sum of approximately $1600, and listed charges beginning on 9/1/20. I was initially confused, because I had paid a down payment of $2785 on August 24th, just days prior to September 1st. I asked Snader Law Group (again this is on a recorded call), what happened to the $2785 I paid, as it appeared that they completely discounted the down payment but were looking to extract a further $1600 from me. The attorney informed me she would be unable to send me any billing details or any invoices. I have never heard of this in my life before, and I have at two different law firms. I have this on a recorded call, their attorney flat out refusing to disclose how my down payment was spent, yet they have the audacity to request an additional $1600.
Snader Law Group has just now today, over a month after I requested my billing records, sent me an invoice alleging that my down payment of $2,785 had been entirely spent by Sept 1st. I find this highly suspicious, considering there's no way my wire transfer cleared until a few days after the 24th. It is completely unreasonable to think Snader Law Group lifted a finger prior to the funds settling. It is also highly suspicious that Snader Law Group was unable to produce any records pertaining to my down payment when requested, but over a month later they have suddenly detailed how they spent the entire down payment in a matter of days. At the very least, they're padding their account billable, and the worst, they're straight up manufacturing charges.
Stay away from Snader Law Group, there are dozens of law firms in the Phoenix with over 4.5 stars. Don't chance it with these unethical attorneys.
I cannot stress this enough, do not retain any attorney from Snader Law Group to handle any legal matter you might have.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Ricardo L.Salt Lake City, UT018Oct 21, 2021
We spoke to this guy after we got a letter in the mail as he was soliciting his services. He has some decent experience but dry and bland and not much of a personality. We felt he maybe was capable but we didn't like his low energy. We read other places reviews but we chose not to go here.

I assisted my brother in his messy divorce and horrendous custody battle.
Our attorney was switched too, but we were given the option to go with her. I am glad we stayed. She wasn't the most accommodating person and was grossly over billing us. Hindsight I'm glad she is gone.
This firm is so ethical, the office manager actually called us and informed us that they reviewed that attorneys invoices and that we will be reviewing a credit. That speaks volumes to me and shows how ethical they are.
We were very happy that the paralegal Kelly stayed as the transition to our new attorney, Andrea was seamless.
I am not sure where all of the complaints are coming from as it appears as though they are about money and the attorney change. You pay for quality service (our old attorney was very proud of her service I guess), but our bills have gone town tremendously since we have had Andrea. The change of attorney sucked, but like I said, we had to option to go.
If you need an aggressive family law attorney, I highly recommend Kelly and Andrea. They are truly a dream team.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - James G.Phoenix, AZ0161Feb 22, 2017
When apposing council uses your attorney's name as a verb, you know you've got the right one. You'll know when they have been Snaderized.
If your "friend" has been contacted by the police, "they" should contact a great attorney.
If you think they need his help, they might - call him to find out.
Howard has the experience you need when you really need help.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Candid Customer ..Tucson, AZ44130115Jun 5, 2019
Despicable law firm. They send out form letters offering a free case review saying you have been arrested (or a family member) for a criminal act. Those letters also reference "public records", despite it being completely false. And, when you call asking about it, they can't pull up any concrete information, and tell you to call the courts. In my opinion, completely unethical practices.
