Hedding Law Firm

I did my consultation with Hedding senior, not knowing the son has the same first and last name which felt like a bait and switch. I paid the retainer thinking I would be working with senior Hedding. The way I found out about this was when I had new information in my case and told the hedding call center I needed to discuss with Mr. Hedding. I got a call back from Hedding Jr. Who barely listened to the situation before dropping an F bomb on me and yelling at me not to do something I hadn't even done.

During the consultation, he said he was going to try hard to convince the DA to drop charges, but I never got any update that they even tried, yet they told me they were working real hard on my case, with no details. I found out later this never happened and nothing but a continuation was planned.

Communication was awful, they use a call center service that knew nothing about my case. Most times, I never got a call back from anyone.

Important information on my case that could have got it dismissed sooner than 18 months, was held on to by Hedding Jr because he wanted to wait til the next court date to show it to the prosecutor instead of bringing it to their attention immediately. Then he asked for more retainer money when things went from bad to worse.

I asked for months to get a digital forensics expert on the case, and he ignored me until the last minute, so he had to continue the case twice.

I asked him for weeks to get me all the evidence that the police report said they uploaded to evidence.com, and he ignored me. I finally got a hold of him, and he told me, "Don't worry about it, let the expert do everything." Totally off base about why I needed the evidence.
As a last resort, I told him I would pay him extra hourly to do that, and he didn't even respond to that!

Hedding law firm charges less than other firms because they take on way too many cases. There was times we went to court and I had to wait a long time because he had over 10 cases at the same time.

I had to do all the work myself in my case, even the forensic expert was not happy with doing Heddings job when it came to a subpoena, the expert had to write the whole thing just so Hedding could sign his name on it and try to take all the credit in the end.

Worst attorney ever. I had to fire him because he recommended a horrible life- changing plea deal. My public defender saved me. Save your money. Get a public defender. This lawyer just does it for money. Sincerely, erik James diesen. Thanks for nothing, ron

Best attorneys hands down. I can't say much about their customer service as of recently. No call backs after having called twice already and was told they will relay the message to their manager Carlos. Back then it would just be the receptionist and it will go directly to the attorneys and they would always be on top of it all, even if it's just a consultation.

I am extremely happy with the "Hedding law firm"!! I went to a bunch of defense attorneys and I picked Ron because I knows someone else who used him and loved him! I can see why now! Ron worked hard on my case and was able to convince the District Atty to accept a plea bargain that was much better than other attorneys said they could do! I decided to procrastinate and I searched for an attorney the day before I had court I contacted a different attorney and he was going to charge me close to $5000 and he says that he actually refused to take my case because it was only a day notice and that was too short of a time to notify him.
So the second person I called was Mr. Hedding, And even though it was after hours he picked up the phone call and he took his time to listen to my whole case and all the other cases that I had going on which I have maybe a total of four and he generously took on my case and then when he asked me for the payment I told him that due to the situation I'm in and the fact that I had to acquire to prior attorneys that Took a lot of my money I wasn't able to pay him that much but I would really appreciate if you take the case because it could've gone really badly if I didn't get a good attorney. Mr. Hedding is the best!! He charge me so much less than what I expected to pay. And for the amount I paid I really got my moneys worth and I would suggest him 100 times to anybody who needs a good attorney- An attorney that's willing to take his time out to make you a priority and take his time so that he can get the best we can done for you and he is very professional and understanding of situations.
He was like a angel and I just cannot thank him enough for all the work he did it and the time you took for me even though I notified in less than 24 hours of my court date and he still was able to do an excellent job and he even kind of took over the case that I had prior and just got everything settled in I am now done with those cases and don't have to do anything more because he took care of everything.

So let me repeat again if you need a good attorney who is willing to work with you and give you his time and expertise I suggest going with this law firm. you cannot go wrong with him!
He is a person I will be asking to handle all my legal issues if I incur anymore and the present I will suggest to everybody I know just because I have never met such a nice attorney as him and I've been working with a bunch of attorneys and he's as good as they say maybe even better. He reassured me that everything would be fine and that I would get out of the county within a day or two so not to worry and just to trust him because I would serve time for a minimal amount of days possible and my fees would taken care of. Who can complain, changed with breaking probation, and received about than 60 days, but was trying to get me for 180 days and got to serve it consecutively with my other case. I was sentenced to 45 days for a prior case and since this was 60 days technically I only got 15 days for breaking probation and out of the 60 days I had to serve I only served three days: one day was just to get to the county jail and I got out a day and a half later and all my court fees and everything was erased.

This review is long overdue. Ron Hedding was a great attorney who offered an affordable flat price for my case compared to many other lawyers I met with. In addition he made me feel confident in his abilities and knowledge.

I was charged with a bogus felony possession of Concentrated Marijuana (Hash) even though at the time of arrest I was pulled over for no reason and had a valid medical marijuana recommendation. He was able to get the charge knocked down to a misdemeanor so I didn't have to travel halfway across the state to attend court hearings. After a few hearings the charged was dismissed. I am forever in the gratitude of the amazing people at this law firm.
