For someone so frightened to be a fraud, she was quite the fraud. So many unnecessary procedures and re-dos. If you had any work done in her last three months of practice, get your dental work re-evaluated! She sold her practice for a reason; steer clear of the mess she left for the new practice.

I cannot believe this woman is still in practice. Steer clear. Dr. Ansari is truly a nightmare of a dentist, as another reviewer stated.

Ten years after getting five 'urgent' fillings from Dr. Ansari, a trusted family dentist from my hometown is now having to revise her work. I have had to undergo revisions to every one of those unnecessary fillings. I was shown the x-rays of her work.

The dental revisions cost me a ton of time and money. I have had second opinions from two trusted dentists since then, and they both reviewed her work as 'very aggressive' and 'unnecessary'.

I went to Dr Ansari for an initial dental visit after being referred by my pcp. I am shocked that another dr referred her. I could copy and paste previous Yelp reviews because my experience was similarly horrific.

After taking X-rays and photographs, she told me I had 7 cavities/holes that needed filling and that I had periodontitis and that I needed an urgent deep cleaning procedure. She wanted me to have the procedure done on the spot and told me that it would cost about $500 or $600 dollars.

I had seen my long-term dentist in NYC FOUR MONTHS EARLIER. Four months. And had been given a clean bill of dental health!! Dr. Ansari's response to my surprise and disbelief by these sudden, drastic developments was that maybe I had "slipped through the cracks" with my previous dentist. Or that I had perhaps developed all these problems in four months due to stress of a new job and move to a new city.....really??

I said I could not pay the price she was quoting me and she continued to push, telling me she'd be happy to set up a payment plan so I could pay in multiple payments since she so URGENTLY felt I needed this work done on my mouth. I was in tears in her office. I found the entire experience to be so abrasive and off-putting. You could just feel the tension in the room.

I refused her services and left her office without paying a cent. It felt like a complete scam and I will never return to see her again. I've already found a wonderful new dentist at MGH who gave me a second opinion - I had ONE CAVITY and needed no deep cleaning. My dentist told me that Dr Ansari's approach was "very aggressive" and that I was lucky I had left the appointment before having had any work done.

So happy to have Dr. Anjum Ansari as my dentist. She and her staff are very professional, have a great sense of humor, they give free dental goodies, free chapstick and they even went out of their way to get me a Starbucks gift card for my birthday when I had to get a cleaning done. What dentist office does that? Dr. Ansari's office does!! She and her staff are awesome!! Thank you!

I visited with Dr. Ansari after I moved to Boston. I had kept up good oral care, but it had been a while since I had seen a dentist and I was up-front with her about that. She told me I had 7 cavities that needed filling and set up an appointment schedule over 3 visits to fill them. She also told me I had periodontitis and needed deep dental cleanings every 3 months. Something didn't feel right about all of this.

To be certain, I sought two different 2nd opinions. Both told me the same thing: that this was nonsense. I am now with a different dentist's office. I have had exactly 1 cavity found that needed filling and I have never needed deep dental cleanings.

I do not like to accuse any professional of being dishonest. However, I can't explain such a wide discrepancy between what Dr. Ansari recommended and what the two other dentists recommended. It feels like Dr. Ansari took advantage of my desire for good oral health by either exaggerating or otherwise dishonestly stating the health of my teeth.

In addition, I should point out that Dr. Ansari's office emails and telephones relentlessly, often placing a high emphasis on the idea of insurance benefits running out before the end of the year. This is a red flag to me.

I've been a patient of Dr. Ansari's office for almost three years. The office was recommended to me by a former coworker.

So, everybody hates to go to the dentist, right? If more offices were like Dr. Ansari's, people may change their minds.

The front desk staff is friendly and cordial - while the setting is professional, the warmth of the staff makes you feel like you're visiting friends. And this is very important when you know that in just a few minutes, someone's going to be sticking their hands and many metal instruments into your mouth.

Timing-wise, I've never had to wait longer than a few minutes for my appointment, and only once has an appointment needed to be rescheduled. Very reliable.

Anna, the hygienist, is super efficient and gentle. I have absolutely no complaints with her work. She is also very sweet and a joy to talk to (even when your mouth is hanging half open!)

Dr. Ansari herself is not only very professional, but kind of hilarious, too. It's much easier to have instruments all up in there when you're laughing. She is very good with her timing - often waiting until you are fully numb before proceeding. She also will combine procedures to save you extra visits. Her assistants are always at the ready and are able to keep up with her speed.

All in all, the office is run tightly, business wise; but that doesn't stop the staff from being personal and friendly. It's the best of both worlds - you don't necessarily want to stay longer than you have to, but at least you're having a good time while you're there.

Dr. Ansari and her staff are great! I've been coming here for years and they are always prompt and pleasant, whether for a routine cleaning or getting a few cavities filled. I recommend her to all my friends and coworkers in the area needing a dentist!

I love having my teeth cleaned by Dr. Ansari. It is always a great experience. I really appreciate how thorough Dr. Ansari is. My gums always feel much healthier and my teeth look whiter. She always makes sure to do a very careful oral cancer screening and exam. Dr. Ansari also knows how to engage you and make you laugh, so that a procedure goes by fast and easy. The combination of skill and personality of Dr. Ansari makes you visits a very pleasant experience. Highly recommend.

I recommended Dr. Ansari to a very close relative who had not been to the dentist in over 12 years. She was terrified before her 1st visit. All I can say is that Dr. Ansari completely made this person feel completely comfortable and at ease. My relative had tears in her eyes when thanking me for recommending such a wonderful and caring dentis. She was also taken aback with Dr. Ansari's knowledge and expertise and her ability to explain the treatment she needed in a simple way that she could understand . Her words were "I have finally found a dentist that can really help me"

Love her...she keeps me smiling...her staff is out of this world...very professional,courtous,and knows your needs...i highly recommend Dr. Ansari ..her office is all you want for a dentist...your smile is the first introduction in every occasion put it in good hands..Thanks Dr. Ansari
