Affordable Comfort Heating & Air Conditioning

It was the Friday before the 4th if July..90 degrees.. Called several places, which had no luck to get someone out asap..
The fee for here was steep $120.00, which was $30.00 more than anyone else.
The girl on the phone said I can get someone out on Sat between 12 & 4..
Desperate has we where we said ok..We had a young man named Randy very knowledgeable & very polite.. explained everything in detail. Turned out to be an earwig bug that got himself in the middle of the connector and stopped the connection..The bug was electracuted (Amen) and a new connector with a surge protector.Won't be able to do that again!
We will call them back again and ask for Randy..Everything is up and running, Thank God! He was very Proffesional and a good role model for Affordable Comfort Heating & Cooling.

Our A/C stopped working and we wanted a second opinion on what was happening with it. From my first call, they were professional, knowledgeable, and very clearly explained the problem and gave us all the options to correct it. Ultimately we needed a new unit. Every person I dealt with was fantastic, the prices were the best I had been quoted and the workmanship was quality. Once installed they were careful to clean any mess they made and left my basement the same way they found it. Highly recommend.

Affordable Comfort gave me a fair quote on furnace and A/C. The sales rep is knowledgeable and answered all my questions with no bs. The installers did a great job answered all my questions and explained everything and did a great job of cleaning up at the end of the job. Their receptionist made sure the dates were set and got me in contact with the people right away.
Great experience for such a big purchase, I am glad I chose Affordable Comfort.

Rude and uncooperative! I had a furnace cleaning scheduled at one of my rental properties and I provided them my tenant's phone number for the appointment contact & confirmation. The day of the appointment they called me while I was in a work meeting and not knowing who was calling... I didn't answer. 9 minutes later I called the number to see who had called and what I got was a rude employee telling me that because I didn't answer the call immediately they were bypassing my home.

I asked him why they didn't call my tenant (instead of me while I was working) because I had provided them the number. This employee just kept saying "you didn't answer and I have to move on" and he couldn't tell me when he could come back.

Suggestion: Follow instructions... if you are asked to confirm the appointment with the tenant... do that. OR... confirm the appoint the night before or an hour before. I will never use these guys again!!!!

We had over a dozen heating contractors in the Downriver area bid a repair of our rotted out ducting. The supply and return runs were in a crawl so most declined to even quote the job. The few that did quote wanted 4 times what Affordable quoted.

Of course you worry that such a profound price difference would be due to low quality or a subpar solution, but their work was outstanding! They even repaired problems not originally quoted without charging. Our home heats and cools perfectly.

Every team member was professional, personable, and great to work with. Down to earth, hard working, great people! I would recommend Affordable above anyone else in the Downriver area.

Service tech come out charge $365 to recharge the system never look for a leak never even pulled the lower part of the unit out even check for a leak most companies have Freon Leak Detectors he never even bothered to try and find a leak I would give them less than one star if I could

The service technician came out didn't bother to pull the bottom unit which is the cooling unit to check for any leaks filled with freon charged me $365 the unit is out of freon again so I just wasted $365 because the service technician was too lazy to do his job properly

Affordable Comfort is a rip off. I understand paying $160 for a service call but to pay over $40 dollars for 5 minutes of this companies time and a finger movement is ridiculous. All the guy had to do was hit a button to reset our ignitor and I was charged $200. It is far from affordable I would hate to see my bill if there was actually something wrong and he had to spend longer then 5 minutes at our house. I will NEVER ever use this company again.
