After a successful 30-year career, Mrs. Gloria officially retired in December 2023 and is no longer seeing clients however, she has mentored several Trichologists who are willing and able to assist with your scalp and hair health needs using the Science of Trichology.
Because the Science of Trichology is Gloria's passion, she will host Trichology workshops throughout 2024.

Meet Gloria A. Fort
Certified Trichologist, Master Licensed Cosmetologist, Certified Hair Coach
My passion is that everyone understands the importance of scalp management. Here at Hair N' Motion Trichological Salon/Clinic, we thrive on education in the area of reducing hair loss & scalp disorders. Our clinical services starts with a scalp assessment, hair check of the hair shaft, or a full consultation.
Once you have been evaluated, we start you on a treatment plan that will start your new journey to a healthy scalp or hair shaft. My training has been 13 months at the National Trichology Training Institute, 13 months training with Board Certified Dermatologists, and 13 months Wellness training, just to name a few. I have also trained with the World Trichology Society, CARF, Dr. Bauman, Hair Loss Summit, and many more.
After helping many men, women and children improve their health with the science of Trichology, I retired in December 2023 and am no longer servicing clients. I've mentored several Certified Trichologists who are also passionate about Trichology and are willing to assist you.

Seborrhea Dermatitis
Seborrhea Dermatitis is a chronic inflammatory scalp conditions that mainly affects the scalp. It causes scaly patches, red skin and stubborn dandruff, and can also affect oily areas of the body.
Cicatricial Alopecia
Cicatricial Alopecia is a hair loss disorder in which the hair follicle is destroyed from scarring and inflammation. CCCA is a genetic predisposition, also the hair follicle can be destroyed by excessive use of chemicals and severe heat styling.
Traction Alopecia
Traction Alopecia hair loss is a result from continuous pulling of the hair shaft from the scalp.
Tinea Capitis Ringworm of the Scalp
Tinea Capitis is a contagious fungal infection of the scalp, typically found in young children.
Irritant Dermatitis or Contact Dermatitis
Irritant or Contact Dermatitis is caused by a chemical or substance reaction to the skin causing inflammation, redness, pustules, and oozing.
Psoriasis
Psoriasis is a scalp condition that produces silvery scales, dryness, white patches, and some bleeding.
Allergic Dermatitis
Allergic dermatitis is a possible life-threatening situation from a substance or chemical causing swelling, redness, dry and crusty skin, and sometimes shortness of breath.
Folliculitis
Folliculitis is inflammation of the hair follicle which affects mostly African American men, with concentration in the occipital area. Crusting, scarring, and breakage.
