Castaic Canine Camp
Where we offer many services for your dog while you are away.
These vaccines are required before any you dog can be dropped off for any service.
Rabies Certificate
We need a current rabies certificate with a LOT, Serial, or Batch number on it. This is required by LA County Animal Control. This could be a 1 year or 3 year vaccine depending on what vet you use.
Bordetella
This vaccine to help prevent kennel cough. It is like the flu shot for humans. We only need the reminder list or receipt for proof of this vaccine. This is a yearly vaccine.
Distemper-Parvo
This vaccine is to prevent dogs from getting Parvo. Vets use many different abbreviations on vaccine records to represent this vaccine including but not limited too: DHPPV, DHPP, DA2PP, DA2PPV, DHLPP. We only need the reminder list or receipt for proof of this vaccine. This could be a 1 year or 3 year vaccine depending on what vet you use.
Canine Influenza
*Call you Vet ahead of time to make sure they have it in stock* Canine Flu is required for healthy dogs 7 weeks of age or older, as an aid in the control of disease associated with canine influenza virus infection. A subtype H3N2 and subtype H3N8 virus have been chemically inactivated and combined with an adjuvant designed to enhance the immune response. Vaccinate only healthy, non-parasitized dogs. A minimum of 2 doses is required for primary immunization. Then a 1 dose annual booster with Canine Flu will be required.
