Been waiting nearly 4 hours for a tow, dispatch tracker showed 16 minutes out, checked again said 1 minute out, saw tow truck fly by. I called and was advised driver was taking another lake James run then I'd be next. Now alert says another 45 minutes out. I cancelled my request only to get a phone call from Phil's driver stating he chose to do the longer runs first before he did a Denton to Denton run... So my tow was not important enough for the driver, he overlooked my request for a longer haul that pays more. Here I sit 4 hours later....I called a real tow service!!

I'd love to say this was a great company but they overcharged for towing because they thought the vehicle flipped, lied about my car having full coverage so that we had it towed to their lot, and lied about my car being totaled so they could buy it cheap from us. Would not recommend.

When your GPS foolishly takes you down a muddy two-tracker trail and you get stuck in a swamp, these are the guys you call! Our 4WD Ford Explorer got stuck in the mud in the middle of nowhere. Then! My Dad's pickup truck (our ill planned rescue vehicle) also got stuck! Phil's team knew where we were (even when we didn't) and managed to rescue both vehicles in the dark while it was pouring rain. It was way less expensive than expected and we were so grateful for their help! I highly recommend this company.

He went out of his way to treat me right. Can't ask for anything better.

Had a great experience using Phil's via Chevy road service. Very quick service, communications was excellent using phone and text messaging, friendly and knowledgeable.

I needed fuel brought out on a late Sunday and the guy was there in a flash, I could not have been more happy to see the amber lights in my mirror. I will point out to others who are not from the area, the gas stations between Mackinac and Gaylord close up on a Sunday, you don't want to find yourself in that spot like I did.

These guys saved me when I was out in the middle of the trails stuck in a mud hole. Great service!

These guys were awesome. I foolishly buried my truck (GMC 2500 HD) in snow and mud (on my property) and spent several hours trying to dig it out. Had a couple of friends come over and attempted to pull me out with TWO trucks - NO LUCK! Finally decided to call the professionals (which I should've done several hours earlier). Phil's team showed up with one of their winch recovery vehicles; they were able to extract my vehicle within 15 minutes. Best $200 I spent all weekend! Just added their number to my phone contacts (hopefully won't need to call them) but now feel comfort in knowing that Phil's team is out there and more than capable of getting the job done.
