Having our 98 year old father-in-law living with us, as soon as I heard of Seniors Helping Seniors, I made a mental note as I was certain we would need them eventually and that day came. I was taking a day off to go to art class and worried about him the whole time. When it started to look like he was not going to be able to stay by himself, I called Seniors Helping Seniors. They came with very little notice and did a great job! I could go to class and really 'get away' and it gave my father-in-law an opportunity to sit with someone new for a change. It was someone nice to share his stories with, go walking with, laugh with and eat lunch with. He was thrilled that she even cut his pickles for lunch. I would not hesitate to use the service again.
