I mean, if you parks somewhere that you know you're not supposed to park what do you expect to happen but what I do say is I've been told by them a couple of times but when I went to the office because Service and everyone was very helpful, very polite and don't get mad at a job

Really, no stars would be more appropriate. Schmit towing is terrible, shady even. They shared my Driver's License and Car Title with another customer by a screenshot text. Also Schmit never called me to inform of tow, even though my car was reported as stolen. Instead, after they'd had the car for 11 days, they sent me a letter by US postal. Meanwhile the daily charges are piling up.

No contactless or card payments like advertised, make you jump through loops and all for retrieval. Unfriendly staff

I have used Schmidt towing for years to tow my mid sized commercial trucks. Today I needed a tow for 16 miles to a repair shop. I called for a quote and much to my shock it was double the price I had paid two years ago. I called their competitors City Wide Towing and received a quote 250 dollars less than Schmidt. I called Schmidt and they basically told me that if I didn't like their prices to bad and that I was free to go elsewhere. The driver from City Wide "Nick" was arrived in less time than expected and was very professional. Schmidt has been bought out and now does not care about its old customer base. Thank you City Wide for your great service and pricing.

Calvin M.New Hope, MN451640Oct 12, 2022My car got hit by a drunk driver, and I called schmit towing, took a little over an hour, oh well, I'm sure there busy, they expect cash or credit, everyone was respectful and nice, I would use schmit towing again if I need a vehicle towed.

Daughter had an emergency in Maple Grove and they couldn't help until tomorrow. No assistance at all from the person I talked to.

This company has the worst staff working in their front office, as well as the tow truck drivers. They are the worst one almost hit me when I was simply attempting to lock my Jeep back once they decided to not release my vehicle, because of their own personal reasons. currently seeking legal action for emotional distress at this location. I even called the police officer to the site to have a police report filed.

My homeowners association has contracted them for $320 Allegedly my vehicle was towed with less than a foot of snow on the grown claiming for plowing and now I'm being forced to pay $420 bcuz of my attitude and using profanity on bs business dealings at schmit! I've reached out to BBB, FTCC and the attorney generals office this company needs to be shut down ASAP! Worse staff I've ever encountered in my whole life, unprofessional, childish, ignorant individuals are running this office. They play phone games and you're not able to speak to anyone in charge business doesn't have anyone that you can address concerns with!

I was told that the fee for it being towed was $320 from my home! Ariel at from desk trash! No customer service bone in her body! I had to walk across the street to get proof of ownership out my car,Charged 150in extra fees from me expressing my dislike of the bull shit practices I'm reaching out to the better business Bureau, The attorney general's office needs to be aware of your guises tactics. Police was also called as a result of me receiving a receipt specifying that I paid for my vehicle to be released as I'm walking out the door I hear Ariel advise the gentleman to take his time we're getting my vehicle as I turn to advise her that this was some bullshit in again expressing the fact that they think it's OK to play with someone's livelihood she tells me that I now can go longer to get my car and then I need to come back the next day with $420!bucks cash. Meanwhile I have a receipt saying my car was paired for! This company should be completely out of business. They shouldn't be able to use this company name when I search it on the better business Bureau page this company supposed to be out of business the certificates on the wall date back to 2003. No up-to-date information on this company can be found. I need help spreading the word on the fraudulent practices when my car was at my home with snow less than 1 foot visible but my car was still towed for $320 but now being strong armed into paying 420$
