I have worked with Chris and his team on 4x separate occasions and can confirm this company really does live up to their name! They always take great care of my stuff, have been professional with communication and were always polite to any neighbors or other people around during the moves we did.

If you want peace of mind when working with a moving company these guys are a great value service at a reasonable price. I would 100% use them again and highly recommend SRM to anyone concerned with the quality of a moving company.

I've used various moving companies over the last 20 years or so, and I can say without a doubt that Safe Responsible Movers are head and shoulders above the rest. Their flexibility with the date of my move was very welcome as was the great communication from both Chris and James. The movers showed up exactly when they said they would...and, to my surprise, there was a 4th person added even though my move wasn't very big. All 4 guys were really nice, personable, and about their business. What I thought was going to be at least a 5 hour move was completely finished in less than 3 hours! The rate was extremely fair. I was expecting to pay at least $300 more than what the final amount came to. I can't say enough about Safe Responsible Movers. They made my move much less stressful. Thank you!

Our movers were friendly, efficient and punctual. They did an excellent job with moving our belongings even with 2 stops. They packed our storage perfectly. The price was a bit on the higher end but lower than most competitors during a prime moving week and totally worth it! Will definitely use again.

Safe Responsible Movers did a recent apartment move for me in Boston. They were amazing-worked quickly, very professional-all of our furniture was properly protected, all items placed in the new apartment quickly and efficiently. The price we were charged was the low end of their quote-I would highly recommend them.

I rarely write reviews but I had to say how great Safe Responsible Movers were during our move. They arrived on time and did quick work. Unfortunately, the truck that they had gotten wouldn't fit all of our stuff. Our items were bulkier than they anticipated and we had some large wardrobe boxes. So they had to call in a backup crew that was close by. The owner Chris was with this crew and they took the remaining items in their truck. They made the whole process as easy as possible and charged very reasonably for the extra work they had to put in. They were professional and courteous and made us feel very comfortable throughout the process. I would absolutely highly recommend Safe Responsible Movers and would hire them again in a heartbeat.

Chris and his crew were responsive, quick, professional and offered a very fair price. I really appreciate Chris working with us on the logistics and price. They were fantastic and I highly recommend them.

I hired these people based on good reviews, and honestly it was not great. I would not recommend. They manhandled my stuff, scraped my new hardwood floors, and broke a few items. Quite a few things were scratched that weren't scratched, and they used my bathroom without asking at my new place.

The people are nice enough, but if you value your stuff not being treated roughly, don't use.

The crew sent to move our stuff was awesome. They have placed all the boxes and furniture as directed with care. I would definitely recommend them. James, you and your crew are awesome.

I've moved with these guys three times, and each time has been absolutely excellent. They are extremely diligent each step of the way, sending incredible amounts of useful information beginning with as you request a move leading all the way up to the days before your move. I appreciated their flexibility w/r/t scheduling this most recent time as well. And of course the movers themselves are super professional, efficient, and friendly. I'll be reaching out to them for my next move, whenever it may be, and you should too!

Mindblowingly great movers. I had a three-man team help me move a one bedroom apartment, and the whole thing took less than 3 hours, including driving in rush hour traffic on a Friday. Obviously everyone's situation is different depending on how much stuff you have, but these guys are hustling the entire time, and know how to be extremely efficient with their load/unload process. They were also friendly, asked questions instead of making assumptions, and offered many times to relocate heavy items for me after we made it to our final destination. And of course, everyone was COVID-safe and had masks on.

Booking them is also a snap: their website is super thorough, and they communicate with you multiple times before the move, so that you don't have to worry about having any miscommunications or being forgotten. On the day of the move, I was updated multiple times about their ETA. I would hire this crew again in a heartbeat!
