They provided the highest quality diamond .Most of the ones I was looking at have GIA certificate and that is pretty much all you need. Frank and Matthew from Gem Dynasty totally went above and beyond my expectations and price... my mother gave me her wedding ring, and they not only made a new one.. but took the old diamonds from my mother's ring and made a custom earring for me and renewed my father's wrist bracelet and added a diamond and was crazy below my budget! Total scam artists. My ex purchased a 2 carat solitaire engagement ring with 1 carat halo in white gold from Frank a number of years ago. He relied on the positive yelp reviews and Frank was nice so he thought he got a good deal. However, he did not get a GIA certificate. When I asked for an appraisal so I could get it insured, they were very flexible on the amount. After we broke up, I took the diamond and certificate back to Frank because I wanted to sell it and he said he could give me an amount in the low five figures which was a fraction of the value on the certificate. About a week later I said ok, then he said remember I told you that I could only keep it on consignment. My friend who was with me at the initial meeting is also an attorney and he absolutely never said that. I then took it to a reputable jeweler who said the quality was far below what was stated on the certificate but she would try to sell it. She kept it a couple of months but no one would buy it because of the low quality. I finally just had her make it into a necklace for my mom. The bottom line is that their business thrives because of people who are not very knowledgable about diamonds as they will take advantage of you, so buyer beware!

After being in the market and looked in downtown Los Angeles for months . looking for a 3 carat oval GIA certified diamond . We were looking to set on a engagement ring which Frank designed and nobody was as familiar as Gem dynasty . They had their own loose diamond which was certified and they had in stock versus they did not have to get it from the other dealers . We were shocked what a large inventory of loose diamonds they had in stock . Frank patiently showed us five different 3 Carat ovals which between all we picked one and that was the winner A. We are grateful for finding Frank and Mathew at Gem Dynasty and we will definitely refer them to anyone who is in a search for a loose wholesale diamond or A custom Engagement ring .
