If I could give Alyssa ten stars, I would! Where to start? I was gifted a session with Alyssa from my three best friends and it was the best baby shower gift I've ever received. Alyssa not only made the session very enjoyable but the portraits delivered were absolutely sensational.

She had the patience of a saint when dealing with our two girls and knew exactly how to pose and calm the children. She spent time ensuring details were perfect and brought the most gorgeous props and accessories for our newborn. We had to do nothing except follow directions and everything turned out beautifully.

We will definitely book Alyssa again for our next family session!

I'm so happy I found Alyssa... with my baby's one year old birthday approaching, I was looking EVERYWHERE for a photographer who would be able to capture his big personality in a cake smash photo shoot. After doing a lot of research AND searching, I found Alyssa and after our email conversation, I decided to move forward with her. BEST decision ever!! She is so kind and understanding due to the fact that a medical situation came up the same day his cake smash photo shoot was supposed to happen. After I explained the situation to her, she told me not to worry about it and that she would be able to reschedule my little boy after he was in the clear. Anyways, long story short, 1 month later, we were able to get the photo shoot done and the pictures came out beautiful!
Alyssa was SO good with our 1 year old! She was really patient and she just really knew how to get his attention and how to take the best photos of him. She was really able to capture his personality and all of the different faces that he makes from being super happy and silly to super upset and cranky (LOL). The session was so easy and I'm sad that it went by so quick, but it was REALLY a great experience for myself and my husband.
The most important thing of all... the pricing! The pricing is exactly as other yelpers have stated, SUPER reasonable and I LOVE the fact that I was able to get more than just a set amount of photos (for our session we received 98 edited photos), because nowadays everybody either prints their own photos or they just want to have it on their phone.
Lastly, I would recommend her to ANYBODY that asks! And after talking to her throughout the session and finding out what other photo sessions she does, I am most definitely going back to her when I have my next baby.. and family portraits... and so on and so forth!!

P.S. He actually threw a little bit of a tantrum when he was smashing the cake because I put on his birthday hat, and Alyssa said "Is there something (like a cracker or a snack) that Khalil likes that we can use to distract him from crying?". We gave him some goldfish crackers, and all was good again! LOL

As a growing family I wanted to capture this exciting time in our life. This being said Alyssa did exactly that! We choose her package deal of shooting maternity and newborn shots. This included trying to take photos with our 2 year old daughter, which was not an easy thing to do just cause if her age. However Alyssa took amazing photos and did a great job getting our daughter not only interested in what she was doing but actually participating!

All in all I would definitely recommend Alyssa to all of my friends and family as I felt she is personable, affordable, and most importantly takes amazing photos!

Awesome experience! I recently worked with Alyssa for a newborn, in-home family session and I could not be more pleased with the photos and the overall experience. She was responsive, flexible when we had a last minute change come up, and very patient and professional during the session. And I am beyond happy with the final product. Alyssa was absolutely amazing to work with! I'm so glad that I stumbled upon her site while looking for a local photographer to capture our little family. Alyssa was very easy to coordinate with prior to the day of the session and had many helpful tips to help us prepare. It was our first time taking family pictures and I had no idea how our one year old son would do. Even though we felt our little guy smiled much less than he normally does, she was still able to both make him smile (behind a mask of course), and looking at the pictures, you would have never know he was having an off morning. The whole experience was so easy and laid back. We ended up with a ton of amazing photos and I look forward to future photo shoots with her!

Alyssa has been beautifully capturing our family moments over the last year; she brings joy to the session and magic to the finished photos. We started with a newborn shoot in our backyard last May, and Alyssa was so kind and patient with my rescheduling and protocol questions. For our holiday photos, she squeezed us in in between rain storms and depicted gorgeous light at the Rose Bowl. She also just did our son's first year ihoto shoot, and I've never seen any picture capture his personality and quirks as well as Alyssa's. She is calm, sweet, and has such an artistic eye and gives the best gift growing families can ask for--memories distilled in mesmerizing photos.

Alyssa took beautiful and captivating pictures of myself, wife, and our at the time five-week baby boy. She was professional and worked well with our boy. Her eye is superb capturing our son in her photography at the perfect time to see his unique expressions. The session was no-stress and easy-going. The price was reasonable and her turn-around was exactly what she promised. I fully recommend her!!

We recently used Alyssa for our family portraits and are so happy with the results! Her price was reasonable, turn around time for photos was excellent, and, most importantly, she captured a variety of different expressions and poses. It's definitely a challenge corralling my two young kids, but Alyssa was very professional, patient, and persistent, making sure to get the poses that we wanted. It's always been a struggle getting a decent family photo with 4 and 6 year-old kids- kids not looking, weird expressions, etc- but to our delight, Alyssa provided us with a few excellent family pictures. We definitely plan to use her in the future.

Alyssa did our son's photos on 7/25/15. We are very pleased with all the shots. We appreciated her tenderness and patience when handling our little one. We loved her creativity and are grateful she was flexible with our son's schedule.

Im looking forward to the next shoot and doing the three generations of the men in the family.
