About

I am a physio, lymphoedema and PhysioKey therapist, PINC and STEEL Cancer Rehab Physio, Zenga and STOTT Pilates Instructor and ASEA associate. In addition, I am the founding director of the PINC and STEEL Cancer Rehabilitation Foundation which is a charitable foundation. The organisation’s aim is to make cancer rehabilitation programs as accessible and affordable as possible for all Australians, male and female, diagnosed with any type of cancer.

My unique skill set has been gathered over the past 25 years spread over three different continents (Africa, USA and Australia) and encompasses a wide variety of fields such as musculo-skeletal, neuro, cardio, aged care, Paediatrics, orthopaedics, sports, Stott pilates, Zenga, lymphoedema management, cancer rehab, and PhysioKey Therapy.

I have honed my skills as a Cancer Rehab Physio to address the individual needs of men and women surviving a cancer diagnosis. I work together with these complex patients to maximise their recovery and regain their physical strength, which improves their body confidence and helps them incorporate exercise into their lifestyle in a sustainable manner.
I also offer the group cancer rehabilitation class NEXT STEPS which combines the best pilates, yoga and cardio exercises in a 1 hour class to help men and women recovering from cancer to move from illness to wellness.

I stock only quality and clinically proven products to support this process. My goal is to empower all that I meet to improve the quality of life, well being and overall health after these life changing events.

I am moving into a role that will enable me to share my skills and knowledge with cancer rehabilitation health professionals, whilst continuing reduced hours of patient care.

I embrace the attitude of gratitude wholeheartedly and welcome connections from positive like-minded people. If you or anyone that you know is looking to learn how to improve their quality of life and health, please be in touch

    Health

Ever since my completion of the PINC and STEEL Cancer Rehabilitation certification courses, I have sought to make funding possible for Australian PINC and STEEL program participants which has proved more challenging than anticipated. I am very excited though that, after 2 years, we are now able to fundraise officially in Australia to make a difference in the lives of Australians affected by cancer and to raise awareness of the importance of cancer rehabilitation at any stage.
