United Petroleum (Ja.) Ltd.is the first indigenous petroleum marketing company in   Jamaica. The company is a member of the Private Sector Organization of Jamaica and is represented on several industry committees at the Bureau of Standards, the   Petroleum Advisory Committee of the Ministry of Energy and Mining. The company is   a founding member of the Jamaica Association of Petroleum Marketers Ltd.
