Wilfer Mobile Sawmill, LLC was founded by Scott Shaeffer and fellow craftsman, Kris Williams. Kris now runs the lumber store as part of his company, Rocky Blue Woodworks and Scott operates Wilfer Mobile Sawmill as it exists today.

Looking forward, Shaeffer is excited to continue building awareness of the benefits associated with urban sawmilling and forest product reclamation. Wilfer is the first company in the Denver Metro Area to earn a contract with a city forestry department to repurpose trees cut from public lands and works with several private arborists to repurpose trees cut from private property.

Wilfer Mobile Sawmill, LLC is a member of the Colorado Forest Service and authorized vendor of Colorado Forest Products.
