Product safety is always at the top of our mind before the launch of any product. Are the ingredients safe for long term consumption? Are they enough science to back the claims? Are our packing facility up to par? - These are just a few of the questions we ask. There's always the new Super Food but our concern is not to chase trends and commit ourselves to a "popular" ingredients when we have not given ourselves enough time to try and evaluate it ourselves.

You may have noticed that in the past 8+ years, we have only 4 product SKUs. Instead of throwing out 100 so-so products, we want to focus on just a few good products that are backed by long history of safety and scientific studies. We insist only on suppliers from Europe and/or Japan region so far, as we believe the commitment to quality is unrivalled yet.

For all our products, we have prepared multiple samples in different formulation for the taste test, efficacy test and stability test. Equipped with over 30 years experience in the food ingredients industry, we are familiar with the best suppliers. We are actively involved in the raw material from production to the end product.

From its birth as a specialized trading firm in May 1988, Natural Colloids has grown to become one of Singapore 's leading suppliers in food gums & stabilizer systems serving the food and non food industries such as pharmaceutical & cosmetic.

To complement our core business, our product line has been expanded to include nutraceuticals or functional foods. Our expertise as well as strong & cordial relationships with major MNCs , has led to the formation customizing blends for Asian countries.

Our consistent focus in R&D has led to the development of a wide range of stabilizers blends. These stabilizing solutions often combine several functions to obtain the best balance for ease of processing at a reasonable cost. This can only be achieved by means of synergistic effect and interactions between many gums, emulsifiers and other food ingredients.

Achieving the ISO 9002 certification in 1999 reinforces our total commitment to product quality and customer service. Besides maintaining a laboratory for stringent quality tests, our application laboratory officers are at hand to assist customers in specific application developments. All information and results are treated with the strictest confidentiality.

The company has completed the transition from ISO 9002:1994 to ISO 9001:2000 in May 2003.
