Hi Dr. Rob, do you do Network Spinal Analysis / Network Chiropractic work? I'm looking for very suble adjustments as I just herniated my cervical disc again (ongoing for about 8 to 10 years).
A:
Hi Ritesh! I am sorry to say that I am not trained in Network Chiropractic! However, I do have lots of experience successfully treating both cervical and lumbar disc herniations, so please let us know if there is anything we can do to help!… more

Really attentive, I have never had a chiropractor as through or understand as much as Dr. Hausman.
I have had some recent bad experiences trying to find a new chiropractor and I am beyond thankful that I waited a little while to see Dr. Hausman.
There is a reason he has a waiting list and he is worth the wait. He takes all of your information into consideration and does not make you feel like a dumb, overly cautious person. His office is laid back and Meg, gosh what and incredible office manager.
Unless you think anyone touching you is off limits or being genuinely concerned about your health is weird, I am not sure how anyone could go wrong with Dr. Hausman.
If you are trained to expect a 5 second adjustment with no real thought behind the treatment and you like it that way then this is not the provider for you, Dr. Hausman is going to get the real source of the pain. His goal is not to see you a million times so that he can bill you, his goal is to get you well so that he sees you once a month for a maintenance adjustment.
You are both gifted and a gift, thank you is not enough.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Donna F.Austin, TX09Apr 13, 2023
Dr. Hausman provides excellent and effective care. He is a careful listener and thoroughly addresses all concerns or questions. Both my husband, who is on an amateur athlete level of fitness, and myself are pleased with his services and highly recommend. Thank you Dr. H.

Dr. Hausman is wonderful! I see him for routine adjustments, as well as when issues flare up. It's really evident that he cares so much for his patients, and I get the sense that he genuinely wants me to be pain free so that I can live a great life. I sent my adjustment-averse fiancé to see him, and he was so comfortable he even let Dr. Hausman adjust his neck, nothing short of a miracle.
Dr. Hausman's team does a wonderful job of creating a welcoming atmosphere and I really look forward to my visits.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Robyn J.Austin, TX18133Jan 11, 2018
I have been to Dr. Hausman a few times and found the adjustments to be pretty good, especially when it comes to my neck.
However, I was shocked to discover recently that for a 10-minute visit I had with him in June, he put in a claim to my insurance company for $225.00! He's out of network for my insurance, so they ONLY paid him $90. That, plus my $30 co-pay meant that he made $120 for my 10 minute visit. No wonder he only works 24 hours per week!
This didn't affect my personal pocketbook directly, but it's not ok with me for anyone to gouge the insurance company; we all pay for this indirectly with our rates.
I checked into the codes that Hausman submitted and one was for manual therapy (which would be some kind of massage, which didn't happen). The other two were for some kind of adjustment plus there was a separate charge for an office visit.
I don't know if what he did is technically insurance fraud, but it sure as hell is unethical, in my book.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

We are sorry for the misunderstanding. We hear you, Robyn. We will do our best to make this more clear in the future for others, because out-of-network claims in particular are confusing, and this is my least favorite conversation to have, believe me. If you would consider taking another look at your EOB, you will see that Cigna paid us $0, not $90. And I can assure you, no fraud has been committed. Everyone who works at this office takes both personal and professional integrity very seriously.
Please let us know if you'd like any recommendations for other chiropractors who can help you in the future.
Sincerely, Dr. Rob - Kiran A.Austin, TX7942Sep 24, 2020
Dr. Hausman is amazing! I was in a car accident and was referred to him from a trusted friend. I've worked in Healthcare Management for years and I've met hundreds of providers from different specialties/modalities and Dr. Hausman is truly in a class of his own. He effortlessly balances being confident and competent in his work capabilities and still remains fully present for the patient: kind, sincere, fun and just a really good guy! He helped talk me through my treatment process, the insurance process, and gave me appropriate referrals to other services I'll be needing in regards to the accident. The energy in his office is calm and safe. I'm usually very anxious with anything medical related but I didn't (not even for a second) feel nervous or anxious in his office. Definitely pay him a visit if you're in need of a chiropractor!

I have been seeing Dr. Hausman for a few years now and my back has improved so much. He is not like other doctors who don't say anything and try to get you in and out as soon as possible. He always greets me by my name and says hi and is very welcoming. He always makes conversation during my visit and treats me like a person and not just another patient. His bedside manners are excellent. Always gives a hug after my treatment. How many doctors do that?

I have been getting adjusted by Dr. Hausman in the last trimester of my pregnancy. He has done an amazing job and I have experienced relief from back and pelvis pain due to pregnancy. He made me feel comfortable instantly and love our conversations. I am almost due and he has made such an incredible difference. The office is relaxing and everyone is so nice. I will definitely continue meeting my chiropractic needs here.

Dr. Hausman has been patiently working with me on my back and jaw issues. He's intuitive, gentle, and knowledgable. I've made substantial progress and experience much less back and hip pain.
What really makes Dr. H special to me is that he is gentle and easy to be with. I can be very touchy, and he's been respectful and helpful
Also, he laughs a lot. That always helps!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Erin S.Austin, TX1421201Aug 1, 2010First to Review
I've been going to Dr. Rob's practice since April and I'm very lucky to have found him. He's in the same plaza as my company, so it's a quick 30-second walk down the plaza for me to get to his place. I believe he has the best chiropractic practice in Austin and here's why:
1. Going to his office isn't an all-day affair. The other offices I've been to like to give you 2-hours of unnecessary treatments JUST so they can bill for the extra treatments. He will target the treatment to just what you need and not take up valuable work-day time. I'm usually in and out in 15 minutes.
2. You can drop in unannounced for a quick adjustment and he will just about always take you unless he's really busy.
3. He has his own equipment!! He took a couple of x-rays on my first visit, so I didn't have to make another appointment and trip to an outside radiologist.
4. I'm seeing results very quickly! for the first week or two, Dr. Rob recommended that I come in a couple of times a week to correct the acute problem I was having. I started feeling better and have gone down to about one visit a week, sometimes one every two weeks as I need it. The other chiropractors I've been to want you to go 3 times a week for the first month?!?! Why? who has that kind of time and money?
5. He takes care of the insurance claims himself. Other chiropractors will force you to submit your claims (non-accident-related visits) yourself to your insurance company to get reimbursement. Not him.
If you're new in town or new to chiropractors, don't even think about going to anyone else but Dr. Rob.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Kate B.Chestnut Hill, MA722Jun 5, 2018
I've been seeing Dr. Hausman for over a year now and he does a great job keeping my body in good working order! I saw him every week throughout my pregnancy and, as a result, I had virtually no neck or back pain during my whole pregnancy. He is also just a delightful person in general so I always look forward to my appointments with him. He gets top marks from me!
