Payroll is one of the functions that you need not handle by yourself.

dh Payroll have always provided us with an excellent service. Our payroll requirements change monthly and can sometimes be complex and nothing is ever an issue. Queries are dealt with promptly and efficiently and I would recommend to anyone looking to outsource their payroll requirements.

My business has been using David Howard payroll team for over 10 years. Emma Barnes and her team are first class, return the information and payslips within 24 hours. I would never entertain the thought of taking in-house as David Howard know PAYE legislation far more than we would ever do. It allows me and my team to focus on our strengths

“As a recruitment agency supplying temporary staff, the successful running of our weekly payroll for our temporary staff in critical to the success of our business. We engaged dhpayroll over 10 years ago, and from day one, they gave us invaluable input into the development of our systems and our payroll procedures, from how we collated our weekly payroll information to advising on complance matters. Outsourcing our payroll to dhpayroll was seamless and they have made sure that our temps have been paid on time, everytime. In addtion, they have over the years provided us with bespoke reports that has allowed us develop our business as well as stay compliant on matters such as WTD and AWR. I would wholeheartedly.

David Howard (DhPayroll) is one of a kind Payroll service providers for companies. We have tried other suppliers and have not found a company that is customer oriented, quick feedback, and very user friendly software in the market. We have been using them for several months now and have zero complaints. Highly recommend!

FAQs

Discover answers to commonly asked questions in our FAQs. Whether you're new to our platform or a long-time user, we've compiled a comprehensive list of frequently asked questions to provide you with quick and informative solutions.

How does outsourcing payroll work?

It is a very simple process, just contact us directly. We will then ask you to provide us with the information for your payroll online. That’s all you need to do. Payslips and reports are sent to your online secure system.

Should I outsource my payroll?

Yes, you definitely should. Business consultants have made it clear that outsourcing some of the non-core functions to professionals can be good for your business. It helps you save time and money, get expertise, ensure compliance with government regulations and make payroll processing safe and secure. Most importantly, you employ your resources on your central functions which allow you to generate more income as well as saving costs.

How much does it cost to outsource payroll?

With 1 employee in your company, dhPayroll is less than £20 per month. We work on a sliding scale so that you only pay for the work we do, and that helps you keep your costs to a minimum. Costs can be as little at £2.10 per payslip for larger companies with 50 or more employees. Please contact us in any case for further information on the costs. We would be pleased to discuss your requirements and provide you with a quote.

Is outsourcing payroll cost-effective?

Yes, payroll outsourcing is a very cost-effective solution for your business. Think of all the time and money that is spent in calculating payroll in each period, printing, signing and distributing payslips and making payments, software maintenance, keeping up with changes in tax rates and other training issues, recruiting and training payroll staff, along with premises and other IT costs associated with internal payroll staff. Outsourcing is definitely going to cost you less.

When should you outsource payroll?

You should outsource your payroll when you feel that the cost of getting it done in-house is more than outsourcing it to professionals, but also you would like the added benefits of security and simple effective software and secure online access to payslips and P60s for your team. It is best to focus on the core functions of your organisation because that is what drives your business and makes your company successful.
