Susan C.Estes Park, CO04Mar 15, 2017Updated reviewVery dissatisfied with this company! We arranged for a quote to have our house pad, driveway and culvert installed. Accepted the $11,000 + quote assuming we would get what we paid for. Everything was going well, there was some concerns regarding the stabilized sand sitting for days, which it's our understanding it's supposed to be used within hours. Also concerned about pad being level. Concrete contractor placed forms for the slab and stated the pad was NOT level. It would require an additional 2-3 loads of select fill ($160 per truck load), which he said he would spread for us. Contacted Houston with DirtWirx and was assured that we would be taken care of. Started calling and texting Houston wanting to arrange for delivery. He wouldn't answer either calls or texts. Contacted Bobby Cooke (owner) who after talking to him, he finally said he would take care of it and would call back in an hour and a half. That was 2 days ago. So we're out more money because we have to have a level pad!!!
