I recently scheduled my father for a single procedure. All other procedures required by his doctor were already done. When I contacted this lab, I indicated that I needed an appointment for just this one procedure. On his visit, he thought it was peculiar that the nurse was making observations of his abdominal area, at which point he indicated that he was only there for a procedure on his throat. The nurse disregarded his gentle but calm protests, the lab undertook a procedure that was already done and therefore unnecessary and thereafter charged my father 3 times the amount he paid to do the procedure elsewhere. The receptionist then advised me that they carry out procedures based on the medical requisition, this is despite the fact that we had already agreed cost and service, without any appreciation of my financial means. This nothing but unethical and unprofessional. The doctor then refused to speak with me when I raised the concern. I would not recommend this lab.
