Metropolitan Eyecare is a multi location, private practice that offers a wide variety of services. We offer comprehensive eye examinations for both glasses and contact lenses. We also do medical testing and evaluations for conditions such as: glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, and many other eye diseases and conditions. Our clinic also can help guide patients towards refractive surgeries such as LASIK and also cataract surgery with specialty implants that alleviate the need for glasses. We fit all types of contact lenses from soft spherical to rigid gas permeable multifocals. The frames we carry range from high end designers like Coach and Versace to lower end budget frames for a more economical choice. Another important area are the actual spectacle lenses and lens options. We carry all lens types, from the highly impact resistant and protective polycarbonate, to the thinnest and 1.70 high index. We offer transitions, progressives, and a few specialty anti-reflective coatings that can block blue light for heavy computer users.
