It means that I focus on helping people with student loan problems such as student loan default, wage garnishment, tax refund offsets, social security offsets, etc. It also means that I advise clients on student loan discharge and cancellation, that I negotiate with the Department of Education, and that I sue collection agencies when they illegally harass my clients. I help clients with both federal and private student loans.
