It's been 25 years since I spoke with Mr. Amidon and when I called today, the number was out of service. He would have to be well into his 80's by now. Regardless, I felt compelled to say that Ron Amidon was the best electrician money could buy. I first met him in 1987, via a small ad in the press-enterprise when I needed an emergency repair at an apartment building I owned downtown. Of course it was a weekend. He not only came right out and fixed the problem in record time, he drew me a diagram of the entire two story apartment building electrical layout for future reference. His bill was so reasonable, I thought he'd made a mistake. He was our go to electrician from then on. Professionals like him are few and far between these days. Mr. Amidon took pride in doing quality work at a reasonable price and was a really nice, personable guy. God bless you Mr. Amidon, wherever you are...
